NATURE EXPLORE CERTIFIED

Keystone Learning Academy is one of 3 facilities in Kentucky that has a certified ”Nature Explore” playground. This outdoor classroom was designed to enhance our Reggio approach to learning by providing sand boxes, a rock pit, a mud kitchen, a small hill for rolling, an outdoor art center, a music center with a stage for performances, a bike trail and lots of tree stumps for climbing, jumping, balancing and sitting. It also has several garden beds full of beautiful flowers to smell, vegetables to plants…. to give our children a unique exposure to nature!
